Bike to School Week All Day

Join students and teachers across Ontario to celebrate Bike to School Week, Monday May 27 to Friday May 31, 2019.

Register your schoolís activities to support your EcoSchools and Healthy Schools programming, and to qualify for incentives (while supplies last)!

Bike to School Week events can take place inside or outside the classroom. They can involve the entire student population. Or, they can be focused on students and staff who already riding to school, or those most likely to start.

Bike to Work Day 7:00 am - 9:30 am

Join the City of Brampton and the Brampton Downtown BIA for the sixth annual Bike to Work Day Breakfast event in Garden Square.

Bike to Work Day is an annual celebration that promotes cycling as a viable and healthy option for commuting to work, and we are expecting a high number of attendees to drop by and make the most of the exciting activities we will have available.

Event attendees can expect a free coffee and breakfast along with the opportunity to win a prize. We have secured a number of speakers which will provide a perspective on cycling in the City and in addition, we are expecting an engaging line up of vendors/exhibitors including the Region of Peel, the Downtown BIA, Peel Regional Police, Brampton Transit, the Brampton cycling community and several downtown businesses.

Rides will depart at 7:15am from the following three locations:

120 Sandalwood Parkway Ė Works and Transportation
1975 Williams Pkwy Ė Williams Parkway Operations Centre
8850 McLaughlin Rd - Flower City Community Campus
185 Clark Blvd - Brampton Transit

Caledon Bike Hub - The Exchange - BikeWrx 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

If your bike isnít working properly you can bring it to our BikeWrx drop-in centre, at The Exchange. There you can borrow tools and get help from a bike mechanic to fix your bike yourself. You can also attend our revolving 6 basic bike maintenance and repair modules and receive a certificate of participation! BikeWrx access is FREE to registered Pedalwise participants. You may need to pay a small fee for necessary replacement parts.

BikeWrx participants are requested to sign up for Pedalwise first.

Caledon Bike Hub - Southfields - BikeWrx 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
