Virtual Community Meeting - Mississauga Official Plan Review 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The City of Mississauga invites you to join in one of three virtual community meetings this fall to help refresh the vision and confirm priorities for the City of Mississauga Official Plan. You will have the opportunity to learn more about priority issues for Our Future City’s Official Plan.
The City’s Official Plan policies address important parts of city-building that affect everyone who lives and works in Mississauga, including transportation, housing, culture and heritage, the environment, and the economy.

The Official Plan addresses things like: where housing, industry, offices, shops, and roads should go; which services and amenities (e.g. parks, schools, transit) are needed and where they will be located; what parts of the city will be the focus for growth and what it will look like, and; what must be considered for growth and development.

The meetings are designed to discuss city-wide priorities as well as those specific to different Wards. At this meeting city-wide priorities will be discussed, as well as those specific to “North” communities (Wards 5, 9, 10 and 11).
